If QPenn is still on your mind, please come to the QPenn debrief TODAY at 7 p.m. to share your thoughts on the week and what you think should be different (or the same) next year. Nurses PUSH presents an informal meeting about a favorite piece of anatomy. Whether you own a pair or are just interested in them, this meeting is for you!

-Breasts' Role in Foreplay/Sex

QSA Questioning Event
Date: 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month
Time: 8:00 pm
QSA will be hosting a questioning event every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month for people who are either in the closet or who have any questions about sexuality. Join QUEST for our final general body meeting of the semester! Dr. Emma Furth, professor of pathology and laboratory medicine will come to talk to us. We will also be discussing our plans for next year and how YOU can get involved! If you didn't hear, we'll be having rainbow cake!

 

 

Queer Tour: Big Ideas Conversation Series

Join Lambda for this awesome panel. In addition to the regular panelists, we will also be hosting Shannon Minter, the lead legal strategist in the Proposition 8 court challenge.

 

Members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities often find the biological argument for civil rights distasteful and even disingenuous. While demographers, survey researchers, and economists consider the conceptual frameworks that create various portraits and arguments about LGBTQ communities and its needs, legal and social movement theorists struggle to build a vision for liberation that connects LGBTQ people to a broader movement for justice.

 

 

QSA General Body Meeting: Yoga and Yogurt

Join QSA to learn some relaxing YOGA moves and treat yourself to delicious, healthy make-your-own YOGURT.  The meeting will be a great study break and a chance to learn some stress reducing exercises.  No experience or athletic ability required!

Wharton Alliance presents: Law Presentation with Evan Jacobs, Attorney with Skadden Arps

The Wharton Alliance is proud to present a presentation and Q&A session with attorney Evan Jacobs of Skadden Arps, one of the world's leading financial law firms. He will be coming to Penn to talk about the law industry in today's economics situation and how it pertains to both current LGBT law students and LGBT undergraduates thinking about a career in law.

Volunteer for Foyer of Philadelphia

Foyer of Philadelphia (www.foyerofphiladelphia.org) is a new non-profit initiative seeking to provide transitional housing for LGBTQ youth who are homeless and/or aging out of foster care. Two youth have expressed an interest in studying for their SATs and are willing to commit two hours a week once a week to a tutoring session.
