Lambda Alliance Newsletter, 2/9/2009
Dear All,
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Get excited for the week, because this Thursday is Freedom to Marry Day! Make sure you stop by Houston to eat some cake, watch a same-sex wedding, and voice your support for marriage rights. Also, please take some time to think about the following three questions and send your thoughts to G.J. Melendez-Torres, who is working to gather data on the possibility of bringing an LGBT Studies program to Penn. You can email him at gerardom@wharton.upenn.edu. Thanks!
1) Do you feel that the undergraduate academic experience is inclusive of you--why or why not?
2) Do you feel that an LGBT studies program is important at Penn? Why or
why not?
3) What experience have you had with gender and sexuality courses at Penn?
Your Lambda Board,
Dennie Zastrow, Chair
Baylee Feore, Vice Chair of Political Affairs
Kyle Lutkewitte, Vice Chair of Internal Affairs
Tyler Ernst, Vice Chair of Finance and Development
