Planning Meeting: Help up plan the SUPERBOWL Party, Visibility Campaign, and Pride Games!

QCF Screening of “Camp Out”

Come out for the first QCF event of the semester! Rev. Jay from UniLu will be joining us to talk about the movie that he was a part of. As always, FREE FOOD! Please RSVP to qcf.penn@gmail.com.

Camp Out is a feature documentary film that follows ten Midwestern teenagers as they attend the first overnight Bible Camp for gay Christian youths. For these six boys and four girls, it's just as hard to come out as Christian as it is to come out as gay. They're caught in the battle between religion, politics and sexuality that's raging in the United States today. These kids are outsiders – their straight classmates ostracize them and their churches reject them. But like all teens, they yearn to feel at home, somewhere. Struggling to find a way to be true to both their spirituality and their sexual identity, these teens come to camp hoping to finally find a place of acceptance.

 

 

Lambda Alliance General Body Meeting

Lambda will hold its first general body meeting of the semester this week. Join all the constituent groups for some food (yes, food!) and a discussion of our goals for the upcoming year.

QUEST General Body Meeting

Location: Raisler Lounge, second floor of Towne Building.

Join QUEST for our first general body meeting with FREE naked chocolate! We will be discussing our plans for the upcoming semester and our exciting events that are currently being planned. Come meet the new QUEST board and mingle with fellow members. There will also be round table discussions with students of health professions including topics of: admissions, specialties and being an out professional. All are welcome to attend.

PATH and GALA SUPERBOWL Party!!!

Come join PATH and GALA for the annual SUPERBOWL Party at the LGBT Center!  This is certainly not a party to miss. As with every year, the FAMOUS homemade chili (both Veggie and Meat) along with other goodies will be served!

 

All That Drag: QPenn 2009 Drag Show!!!

It's that time of year again, where gender bending is the name of the game. Take part in the Queer Student Alliance's annual charity Drag Show! We're calling for performers: queers, allies, dancers, athletes, scholars and Whartonites... it's time to show your wild side! Grab some friends, or fly solo.
